hit number one a few weeks ago), and now UB40's Ali Campbell will be special guest at Wembley, invited by John Holt and Ken Boothe, (his chart hits include 'Crying Over You' and 'Everything I Own', covered by Boy George in 1987), who both feature on UB40's recently released 'The Fathers Of Reggae' remix compilation. Marcia Griffiths, whose version of 'To Be Young, Gifted and Black' was a huge UK hit in 1970,was one of Bob Marley's I-Threes backing vocalists in the Wailers, while Mikey Spice is a talented multi-instrumentalist with a reputation as Jamaica's answer to Barry White. This year, Clement Ishmael, (currently conducting 'The Lion King') will conduct a 36 piece orchestra, alongside a reggae band featuring members of Jazz Jamaica. Wembley will be compared by David Rodigan (Kiss FM) and Geofff Schumann (Choice FM) and DJ's on the night are Miss P from BBC London and Lady G from Choice FM.
