BROADZILLA
BACK IN THE UK!

They're the hottest band in Detroit…and they're coming over here!

"Packs enough megalithic riffs and breakneck three-minute rockgasms to cut the metal mustard…what Motorhead would sound like if Lemmy had been born with a vagina" - NME (7/10), September 2003

"Darker than The Donnas and heavier than L7…brutal rock'n'roll, choc full of sleaze and wit, with a punk edge." - The Independent (September, 2003)

Hell hath no fury like three girls torn between the trailer-park and insanity-driven, chaotic punk delirium. Hailing from the mean, lawless - and downright decrepit - downtown streets of the legendary Motor City, these three deadly, red-hot ultravixens unleash a brutal and unending onslaught of supercharged high-octane rock'n'roll, and continue to systematically fuel the seemingly insatiable passions of frantic, screaming fans everywhere: the band's supreme-maestro-ultravixen Rachel May defines the band's ethereal essence as "Bordello Biker Chic".

Dave Edwardson of Neurosis says: "Broadzilla would kick the f**kin' s**t out of Charlie's Angels!"…and who are we to argue?

Winner for the THIRD year in a row of the prestigious Detroit Music Awards Best Rock Act, the band loved their two UK tours last year so much that they're bringing their ace live show back to these shores…

BIOG-ZILLA

Recently, Broadzilla debuted the release of their second CD "Lady Luck," to a sold-out crowd of 800+ in their hometown of Detroit Rock City. With the first and second pressing of the album immediately sold-out, the girls are enjoying its rapid third run and are gearing up for its fourth pressing. The band's first CD release, "Broadzilla vs. the Tramp-O-Lean," quickly sold-out of its first and only pressing in record time.

WRIF 101 FM, Detroit's #1 rock station, has been playing Broadzilla religiously and championing their powerfully ripping tunes since the bands inception. In 2000, the band caught the attention of Fred Durst from Limp Bizkit, who invited them to perform on the opening night of the Limp Bizkit & Cypress Hill tour in Detroit. This high-profile gig landed them an interview with Durst that aired on MTV, as well as various mentions in Spin and Rolling Stone. Broadzilla has also enjoyed small features in Alternative Press, Rockrgrl, Burrn!, Terrorizer, Big Cheese?, and The Netherlands' Metal Maidens.

At the 2000 Detroit Music Awards, the girls were honored to be nominated for Best Hard Rock Band, and the following year, Broadzilla overwhelmingly won the award and title of Best Hard Rock Band. In April of 2001, the group was invited to perform at the massive awards ceremony in the company of some of Detroit's best-known acts, including the infamous rap group D12 - featuring Eminem - and were presented the coveted award trophy by Kenny Olsen of Kid Rock's Twisted Brown Trucker Band. In April of 2002, and again in 2003, Broadzilla was honored with the highly-regarded award for Best Rock Band at the Detroit Music Awards, receiving the prestigious distinction for an unprecedented third year in a row.

Venturing out of D-town regularly to dispense concentrated doses of diabolic destruction throughout the Midwest and the East and West Coasts, Broadzilla has opened for such acts as The Deftones, White Stripes, Joan Jett, Clutch, L7, The Sex Pistols, The Lunachicks, The Datsuns, The Hellacopters, Veruca Salt, Goo Goo Dolls and Skid Row among many others. Earlier this year, a handful of selections from "Lady Luck" were picked up by XM Satellite Radio and have been running in nationwide rotation ever since. The group was also featured in a live interview on the station that led to the addition of yet another song, this one from a new single released on B4 Records, a label run by producer Mike E. Clark, known for his work with Insane Clown Posse.

Broadzilla is constantly on the road, touring in support of "Lady Luck" on Diamond Star Records, the bands own imprint. Of course, it goes without saying, that none of the girl's impressive accomplishments have simply been handed to them. All of the numerous accolades have been painstakingly earned exclusively through years of hard work, dogged perseverance, and an iron will of determination to succeed. All by themselves, this genuine DIY band has managed to not only break down and demolish many formidable barriers, but has also worked aggressively to overcome the all too typical and pervasive sexual stereotypes, rampant throughout the music industry at all levels.

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES !!! Broadzilla is a relentless, uncompromising, unstoppable, and monstrous maelstrom of destructive and debilitating decibels rip-roaring through your town and leaving it an utterly annihilated, devastated, and smoldering ruin.
