THE DEAD DAISIES

***THE DEAD DAISIES ANNOUNCE EUROPEAN SUMMER DATES TO KICK OFF GLOBAL 2020 TOUR***

dead daisies
Rock'n'Roll is a trip, not a destination... we all know how the saying goes!!

To that end, 2020 will see The Dead Daisies continue on their journey with new music, performances and adventures.

The band's 2020 Global Tour will kick off in style with a massive European Summer jaunt - the first string of dates being a combination of arena and amphitheatre shows with both Judas Priest and Foreigner, performing at some of the most famous and coveted festivals such as Graspop Belgium and Hellfest France as well as an exciting array of headline performances... kicking it off with a small, sweaty club in Essen, Germany, taking it back to basics for an essential dose of undiluted rock for the first-ever show with this new lineup!

The Daisies have rung in this next chapter welcoming new member Glenn Hughes to the band (Deep Purple, Black Country Communion). Glenn has taken over lead vocals and bass guitar, joining guitarists Doug Aldrich (Whitesnake and Dio), David Lowy (Mink and Red Phoenix) and drummer Deen Castronovo (Journey, Bad English and Hardline).

With Glenns addition, the Daisies have supercharged their front line through his rock solid bass grooves and unmatched vocal intensity. As all fans know, the man is a true original, inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame, with a rich history of music that features some of rock's absolute heavy weights...

"I love performing live, the moment is NOW. I'm really looking forward to going out on tour with the Daisies and playing as many stages across the planet as possible. Writing and recording the new album was euphoric and I can't wait for you all to hear this Epic. Peace and Love see you soon GH".
Glenn Hughes

The upcoming, yet-untitled album, recorded by Producer Ben Grosse at La Fabrique Studio in the South of France, is slated for a late-May release to coincide with the Tour.

The Dead Daisies are pushing forward with relentless abandon, giving energy and taking chances to ensure that every person who experiences them has no doubt that Rock is Indeed Alive & Well and here to stay.

So turn it up, come to a show, enjoy the ride & ROCK with us.

DON'T MISS IT!

THE DEAD DAISIES

THE DEAD DAISIES SET TO ROCK THE PLANET
***New Track 'Righteous Days' takes off on Spotify Oct 4th via Spitfire Music***

dead daisies
Hard Rock collective The Dead Daisies, who recently revealed that they've been working with legendary Bassist/Vocalist Glenn Hughes, are set to unleash the first offering from this new and exciting collaboration with 'Righteous Days' streaming via Spotify on October 4th.

Kicking off the next chapter, 'Righteous Days', that features Hughes at his brilliant best, is a truly outstanding song elevating The Dead Daisies' sound to a significantly higher level. The track was originally unveiled exclusively via Planet Rock UK as well as the band's website but after a massive amount of worldwide radio airplay generated huge demand from legions of rock fans, the song is now scheduled for digital release.

"We were in the studio recording a song that at that point in time had no title or lyrics. I went home, got some sleep and on the way back to the studio wrote the vocal melodies & lyrics to what became 'Righteous Days'. There was an instant connection with Doug, David and Deen. The song is about acceptance and gratitude. Music is the Healer." - Glenn Hughes

"'Righteous Days' was one of a few songs we recorded at Sunset Sound in Hollywood. It was so cool to work there and we were all very inspired and excited to work on new music together. The song has a mean Daisies style riff with a classic Glenn Hughes swagger! A great start to our new sound with Glenn." - Doug Aldrich

Rock music has been a foundation in creating positive change around the world, it unites people through common emotions, it inspires creativity and encourages family, friends and communities to develop legacies and experiences that can be shared for generations to come across the Planet.

To that end, David, Doug, Deen and Glenn are very much looking forward to heading back into the studio in November to finish the album and can't wait to hit the road and see all of you again in 2020.

Rock is indeed alive and well!!!

"This is a 'tip of the hat' to our heroes, bands that influenced us when we use to buy their records as teenagers. Now we've put them all on one album and it seriously rocks!! You may think of us as 'Rock Stars' but at the end of the day we're just huge music fans!" - John Corabi

This collection of covers comes together from a long list of some of our favourite tunes, some bonafide classics - or simply songs that made us all smile, sweat and scream, band and audience alike.

So crank them up as they work better with generous amounts of volume and a huge smile on your face. After all, a great song is a great song. Rock is Indeed alive and well.

Released on August 23rd, 2019, it comes in a suite of formats including DigiPak CD, Coloured Vinyl with CD in paper sleeve, digital download and streaming.

THE DEAD DAISIES

***Taking it to the Streets with "Daisyland" UK Winter Tour Set To Kick Off November 10th***

dead daisies
THE DEAD DAISIES are returning to the UK in November to finish off yet another amazing year of shows. The band, comprising of Doug Aldrich, John Corabi, Marco Mendoza, Deen Castronovo and David Lowy are looking forward to rocking out with all their friends that side of the Atlantic.

In a time when elements of the music industry are claiming that 'Rock is Dead', The Dead Daisies are leading a charge that's taking them to the road not only in clubs and concert halls but straight to the very heart of rock music lovers and musician's communities.

Venues will open their doors one hour early to the first 50 in-line with the band playing an intimate, private "Daisyland" acoustic set after which they'll mingle, say Hi and sign albums, posters etc. The goal is to rekindle that close connection the way it used to be, when bands would regularly meet some of their audience at music events, giving their time to the people that bought their records and concert tickets, unlike the hundreds of dollars some bands charge in today's music world for a Meet & Greet.

To that end, The Dead Daisies are taking it to the streets across the UK throughout November and can't wait to bring the house down on their 'Daisyland' UK Winter Tour performing 120-minute sets including an acoustic interlude each and every night, with two different sets lined up for the two London gigs. Fans who buy a special two-night ticket for the London shows will also receive a commemorative exclusive laminate.

"We cannot wait to come back to the UK and rock with you! The pre-show acoustic shows are so much fun and give us a chance to connect with our friends & family more than ever and pull out some deep cuts and favorites in an intimate setting - don't miss it!!" says guitarist Doug Aldrich.

The Dead Daisies have just released "Can't Take It With You" as their fourth single off their latest album "Burn It Down" with a lyric video to match! The single once again was added to Planet Rock's coveted A-Playlist and is featured across many Spotify Playlists and stations across the U.S.

Superlative special guest acts from across the rock spectrum are set to enthrall at the band's nine headline concerts, from trusted classics Diamond Head, Tygers Of Pan Tang, Chrome Molly, Oliver / Dawson Saxon and No Hot Ashes, through to new UK rock sensation Massive Wagons.

THE DEAD DAISIES

ROCK WITH THE DEAD DAISIES ON 4th JULY: A REAL AMERICAN BAND

dead daisies
UPDATE: 4th July 2017:

The video for 'American Band' is now live and here it is:

With July 4th just around the corner, The Dead Daisies wanted to not only celebrate Independence Day but Freedom around the world. Bassist Marco Mendoza sums it up nicely for all of us:

"My career as a Musician has allowed me to travel around the World quite a few times to experience different lands & cultures. Back in the USA we live with the abundance of life and freedom unequalled anywhere else and that's a fact! On July 4th let's fly the flag high and celebrate Independence Day and all it stands for!!! I for one am thankful & grateful to be able to live in the US OF A!!! The land of the free & the home of the brave!! VIVA THE USA and VIVA LA ROCK!!!!"

To that end, the band is proud to announce the release of an American Classic "We're An American Band" in celebration of Independence Day and all it stands for. They will also drop a little video for it on July 4th.

Singer John Corabi:

"We first did "American Band" by Grand Funk Railroad for our troops in South Korea. We wanted to bring a little bit of something "American" to our men and women in uniform, and give them a taste of home. So, what better way than a classic American tune by a legendary American band. The song went over so well we decided to keep playing it and subsequently decorded it for our "Live and Louder" album. Enjoy the Daisies version, the video, and your FREEDOM the troops are fighting for on this celebration of our independence as a young, sovereign nation!!!"

Guitarist Doug Aldrich:

"Hey Friends!!! We are dropping a new song to celebrate the 4th of July. For me, I think it's a time to remember and appreciate the Freedom that all of our own countries provide for us. Stay strong and let the music move ya!"

Fresh from their European Tour playing at some of the biggest Rock Festivals and Sold-Out headline shows, culminating in beyond capacity headline performances in Salzburg, Budapest, Prague & Japan, the band are making their way to the USA. Don't miss them on their first-ever North American Headline Tour entitled "The Dirty Dozen" marching across the USA in August. The Dead Daisies' latest live outing "Live & Louder" continues to garner explosive reviews around the world and is quickly becoming a fan favorite being viewed by them as "best sounding Live Album of all time".

Rock & Roll is indeed alive and well!!!

LINE-UP:

John Corabi (Mötley Crüe, The Scream) - vocals
David Lowy (Red Phoenix, Mink) - guitars
Marco Mendoza (Thin Lizzy, Whitesnake) - bass
Brian Tichy (Ozzy Osbourne, Foreigner) - drums

About The Dead Daisies:

Influenced by 70's and early 80's rock, The Dead Daisies sound is soulful and accessible - equal parts of Aerosmith, Bad Company and Foreigner: muscular vocals, bluesy riffs, big choruses, powerful melodies and strong hooks. With stellar musicianship and pulverizing live shows, fans worldwide are discovering the band that is bringing back Rock & Roll! The band features in their ranks some of the finest Rockers on the planet, among them one of the premier lead guitarists of this day and age, Doug Aldrich (Whitesnake, Dio). He completes a powerhouse line-up consisting of charismatic singer John Corabi (Mötley Crüe, The Scream), bassist extraordinaire Marco Mendoza (Thin Lizzy, Whitesnake), drummer to the stars Brian Tichy (Ozzy Osbourne, Foreigner) and bringing the thunder from down under, Australian rhythm guitarist and founder David Lowy (Red Phoenix, Mink).

About Grand Funk Railroad:

Grand Funk Railroad, sometimes shortened as Grand Funk, is an American rock band popular during the 1970s, when they toured extensively and played to packed arenas worldwide. David Fricke of Rolling Stone magazine once said, "You cannot talk about rock in the 1970s without talking about Grand Funk Railroad!" Known for their crowd-pleasing arena rock style, the band was well-regarded by audiences despite a relative lack of critical acclaim. The band's name is a play on words of the Grand Trunk Western Railroad, a line that ran through the band's home town of Flint, Michigan.

THE DEAD DAISIES

LIVE & LOUDER FOR PEACE & FREEDOM - THE DEAD DAISIES SET TO ROCK WOODSTOCK, POLAND WITH THE GORZOW ORCHESTRA

dead daisies
High Octane, rip-roaring hard rockers THE DEAD DAISIES are proud to announce a monumental return to WOODSTOCK POLAND featuring in a gripping headline performance at a special "CONCERT FOR FREEDOM" with The Gorzow Philharmonic Orchestra on August 3rd, 2017.

Founder & President of Woodstock Poland, Jurek Owsiak has the following thoughts on The Dead Daisies and their return to his Festival:

"Woodstock 1969 became an incredible spark which inspired all freedom thinkers of the world to face their biggest challenge yet - striving to achieve freedom, independence, truth, and try to build a true fraternity of people across the globe. For people in Poland, it became an inspiration to take a very important step on the road to regaining freedom and true independence. It was thanks to music, thanks to artists, who gave voice to our dreams which, 25 years ago, resulted in the creation of Polish solidarity and our Polish independence. We are so proud to say that it has been 23 years since we began to send the message of peace. It is especially important in such turbulent times as now. We are very grateful that thanks to artists like you, and amazing initiatives like The Dead Daisies and their songs about freedom, we are able to nurture and develop these everlasting ideals. The spirit of freedom permeates the globe, unstoppable like the wind, and it reminds us that despite the different skin colors or creeds we are all united by the ideals of Love, Friendship, and Music."

In the middle of a World Tour supporting the release of their new Live Album - Live & Louder, Doug Aldrich said the following:

"We are very, very, excited to be involved in the Woodstock Festival again this year. We will be performing with a sixty-piece orchestra!! It has been a big dream to do that! The Dead Daisies set list is going to be a one off special in the name of Peace & Freedom just for this show. Can't wait!!"

Alongside the announcement, THE DEAD DAISIES are releasing a new video today for "With You And I", which was fittingly filmed at the band's inaugural performance at the Woodstock Festival last summer. It features imagery in line with values that the world seems to have sadly forgotten.

Watch the video here:

Singer John Corabi:

"I think the lyrics to "With You And I" are especially relevant at the moment, you can't turn the TV on and NOT see some sort of human decay anymore. We're battling each other in so many ways, it's disturbing. Be it political party differences, the struggle of black vs. white, religious differences, terrorism, famine, disease, pollution, climate change, etc. -- nobody is working TOGETHER in any way to find answers to these issues, and communicate as adults!"

Rock & Roll is indeed alive and well!!!

LINE-UP:

THE DEAD DAISIES

The Dirty Dozen Tour 2017
**A Dozen Dates Announced For Live & Louder North American Tour**

dead daisies
THE DEAD DAISIES' awesome live juggernaut is set to storm into North America in August for a dozen prime live dates as part of their Live & Louder World Tour, in support of the release of their landmark 'Live And Louder' album on Spitfire Music/SPV/eOne on May 19th. Heralded "The Dirty Dozen Tour", the trek is set to kick off in Chicago, IL on August 10th and will wrap in Las Vegas, NV on August 27th.

"The Dirty Dozen Tour" is inspired by the classic 1960s movie of the same name. "Rehearse them, Excite them, Arm them - then turn them loose on the Fans!"
It will be the band's first North American Headline Tour where demand has been steadily building after 2016's smash success of their third album "Make Some Noise".

Lead singer John Corabi - "We're all very excited for our very first North American headline run. We're kicking it all off on August 10th in Chicago and ending it in "Sin City" Las Vegas!!! You guys have been amazing with all of your support and requests for shows here, so we're giving it to you "LIVE AND LOUDER", and "down and dirty" on "The Dirty Dozen Tour 2017"!!!! See ya on the road kids!!!"

Before being turned loose on North American audiences, the troops will be fresh from playing some of the most prestigious & high profile UK & EU Rock Festivals coupled with a series of headline club shows, dates in Japan to then make their long-awaited debut in South America. From South America it's back to one of the EU's largest Festivals "Woodstock Poland", to be part of a "Concert Inspired by Freedom" which will see the band perform with a 60-piece Orchestra.

The "Live & Louder" - World Tour 2017 will visit the following countries: Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Denmark, Sweden, United Kingdom, Holland, France, Belgium, Hungary, Czech Republic, Japan, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Mexico, Poland, Canada and the USA.

"LIVE & LOUDER", will be available in multiple deluxe formats & perfectly captures the awesome vibe of their supreme, sweat drenched, roof-raising live sets, recorded on a heady high at the end of an unbelievable 2016. The result, once again mixed by Anthony Focx (Aerosmith, Bad Company), is an absolute stunner!

Lead guitarist Doug Aldrich has some choice words about the upcoming live album - "Live & Louder really helps define The Dead Daisies' sound. Like bands I've been involved with co-producing (Whitesnake and Dio), we have a great team that makes sure our sound is consistent and we are always looking to pump it up. Onstage I just play guitar but our crew and production team are very instrumental in capturing what happens on stage. Now get out there and go Live & Louder with us this summer!!"

Special Guests on this run will be THE DIVES which the band made instant friends with on the previous years' KISS Kruize and who will add their own blend of signature rock and roll to the fiery package.

Rock & Roll is indeed alive and well!!!

THE DEAD DAISIES

***VITAL NEW 'LIVE AND LOUDER' CD / DVD / DOUBLE VINYL / BOXSET RELEASED MAY 19TH ON SPITFIRE MUSIC / SPV***

dead daisies
'Live And Louder', The Dead Daisies' highly-anticipated live outing, set for release on May 19th on Spitfire Music / SPV, perfectly captures the awesome vibe of their supreme, sweat drenched, roof-raising live sets, recorded on a heady high at the end of an unbelievable 2016.

From the moment they dropped their first single 'Long Way To Go' ahead of their European Festival Summer in June, the hits just kept on coming. The 2nd single 'Join Together' ramped up the release of the third studio album 'Make Some Noise'. The band were well underway touring the USA with KISS, a tour that finished with a sold-out headline show at LA's prestigious Whisky A Go-Go.

The next single 'Song And A Prayer', was released with an accompanying short-film, refocused attention and rang in the final, massive touring phase of the year which saw the band go to Japan for the first time, where they immediately became media and fan darlings and went down a storm at the world-famous Loud Park festival. A string of dates in Korea for the USO and, as the year's grand finale, a massive UK & European Co-Headline Tour that played 30+ shows to sold-out venues.

The 'Daisies' as they are affectionately referred to by their fans, quickly became people's favourite live band with their relentless energy, stellar musicianship and unabashed joy in bringing the rock back into roll. The big question at signing sessions after each show and on the band's social media channels continued to be: "When will there be a live album?". People simply could not get enough of them live.

Not to turn down a good opportunity, the band recorded a number of shows on the UK & European Tour and, with the team that already made 'Make Some Noise' blow speakers worldwide. The album was mixed by Anthony Focx (Aerosmith, Bad Company, Metallica, Santana) at Focxhole Studios and mastered by Howie Weinberg. They assembled a true monster in the vein of the great Live Albums of the 70s. You can feel the sweat drip from the ceilings, the energy of the crowd becoming one with the band, screaming, hollering and forgetting about the often mundane reality for a night of true Rock'n'Roll. Warts 'n all, 'LIVE & LOUDER' is a document of a band in their prime, a raw slice of visceral energy, an in-your-face assault on the senses. Simply: THE DEAD DAISIES in their element and at their best!

Lead singer John Corabi adds: "We're extremely excited and proud of our new album 'LIVE & LOUDER'!!! A lot of the fans have been writing to us and saying how much they LOVED our records but were even more blown away by the band live!!! So this documents our last U.K./European tour, and also shows the world how truly loud and supportive The Dead Daisies fans are!!!! Thank you and Turn It Up!!!!"

'LIVE & LOUDER' will be released in a number of different, exciting formats. Again, the band listened to what the fans wanted and added a spectacular vinyl as well as a limited-edition box set that features, among other cool trinkets, an exclusive 7" vinyl single recorded at The Zoo at Planet Rock Radio's highly coveted London fan-only gig in November 2016.

"LIVE & LOUDER" Formats:

• DIGIPAK (Contains CD & DVD & massive photo booklet. The DVD features an exclusive "Live & Louder"-Documentary, a massive "Make Some Noise World Tour"-Documentary, all music videos of the "Make Some Noise" album cycle and a picture gallery)

THE DEAD DAISIES

*** Enthralling Hard Rockers' Soaring New Single 'Song And A Prayer' and Short Film Unleashed November 4th***

dead daisies
Riveting Hard Rockers The Dead Daisies have lined up the release of their captivating new single 'A Song And A Prayer', for today, November 4th on Spitfire Music / SPV, 8 days prior to kicking off their massive six-week joint-headline UK and European Tour with The Answer.

A short film, reflecting the poignant story behind the lyrics of 'A Song And A Prayer', the fourth single to be taken from The Dead Daisies' much acclaimed new album 'Make Some Noise', which crashed into the Top 40 National UK album chart in August, is unveiled today here:

Says John Corabi: "This song turned out to have a special vibe to it, very accessible, which is really cool. But the lyrics are rather dark. In the end it's about hope, it talks about all the troubles we're all going through - and that you have to be hopeful, that you will come out of it. Always look on the positive side, that's the message."

The Dead Daisies, who were recently special guests on KISS' entire 'Freedom To Rock' US tour, have just played their first ever USO headline tour for Servicemen and –women in South Korea. Today, November 4th, they commence performing with KISS on the Kiss Kruise in Cozumel, Mexico, until November 9th.

The Dead Daisies, a 'must-see' live act who sold out their solo UK tour dates in July [plus wowed the crowds at 3 UK rock festivals (Ramblin' Man, Rock & Blues and Steelhouse) in 2 days], then fly in to the UK to play the following shows:

November 12th ABERDEEN Lemon Tree
November 13th GLASGOW Classic Grand (Sold Out)
November 14th SHEFFIELD Corporation
November 15th NEWCASTLE Riverside
November 16th HOLMFIRTH Picturedrome
November 18th DONCASTER Diamond Lounge
November 19th BIRMINGHAM Academy 2 (Sold Out)
November 20th BRIGHTON Concorde 2
November 22nd NORWICH Waterfront

The Dead Daisies are: Doug Aldrich (Whitesnake, Dio), John Corabi (Mötley Crüe, The Scream), Marco Mendoza (Whitesnake, Thin Lizzy), Brian Tichy (Ozzy Osbourne, Foreigner) and David Lowy (Red Phoenix, Mink).

THE DEAD DAISIES

*** Mega Hard Rock Band's Phenomenal New Studio Album 'Make Some Noise' Unleashed Today, August 5th ***

dead daisies
The Dead Daisies' excellent new album 'Make Some Noise', released today August 5th, on Spitfire Music / SPV, way more than lives up to the legendary 'classic third LP syndrome' epithet. Packed with killer tunes, (and defiantly no 'filler'), 'Make Some Noise' grabs you by the musical throat from the moment the opening bars crash out of the speakers, never letting go until the very last notes fade away.

'Make Some Noise', which was superbly recorded and produced by Marti Frederiksen (Aerosmith, Def Leppard, Mötley Crüe, Buckcherry) in Nashville in February and March 2016, contains ten originals plus two inspired new incarnations of The Who's 'Join Together' and Creedence Clearwater Revival's 'Fortunate Son'.

Powerplay Magazine have already awarded 'Make Some Noise' 9/10 by David Thrower in the current August 2016 issue, who states that "Lead single and opening number 'Long Way To Go' struts with an AC/DC assuredness thanks to a stabbing riff from both guitarists, with Aldrich proving yet again why he is always in demand while Corabi's voice sounds as powerful as ever… 'We All Fall Down', 'Mainline', 'How Does It Feel, hell, virtually everything on offer, have the bounce and playfulness Tyler and and Co bring to the party. Producer Marti Frederiksen may have had a hand to some extent, having worked with Aerosmith since the 90s, but overall the resulting output was created by five incredible musicians at the top of their game…This is one hell of an album that takes the attitude displayed on both the eponymous debut and follow-up 'Revolucion' yet adds further meat, vibrancy and class."

dead daisies

'Make Some Noise' has already elicited much praise online from the likes of Planetmosh.com, who state that "There's no reason why both the older and younger generation wouldn't appreciate the blistering rock 'n' roll vibe that The Dead Daisies have to offer in this latest album. While a supergroup has a lot to live up to, The Dead Daisies manage to do this with ease. There are a multitude of tracks on 'Make Some Noise' which have the potential to be instant classics from any die-hard rockers perspective. They simply manage to encompass all the right components that drive not only listeners, but the dedicated followers you expect to see locked on to the front barrier, and can't get enough of real old-school Rock 'n' Roll. The Dead Daisies are a resounding celebration to what Rock 'n' Roll is all about, and their you're a fan of classic Rock 'n' Roll, you're in luck… The Dead Daisies are a force to be reckoned with." THE DEAD DAISIES

***CELEBRATED HARD ROCKER'S INCENDIARY NEW STUDIO ALBUM 'MAKE SOME NOISE' UNLEASHED AUGUST 5TH ON SPITFIRE / SPV RECORDS***

The Dead Daisies' superlative new studio album 'Make Some Noise', set for release on Spitfire / SPV Records on August 5th, is a vital, vibrant and utterly uplifting opus, which way more than lives up to the legendary 'classic third LP syndrome' epithet.

'Make Some Noise', packed with huge hooks, giant, intense guitar riffs and glorious, distinctive vocals, celebrates the kind of classic rock 'n' roll that has gone from strength to strength ever since it emerged in the early 1970's and that sweaty clubs, concert halls and stadiums the world over would be impossible to imagine without. Each of the joyously performed, perfectly crafted, melody drenched 12 songs instinctively aims straight for the centre of the listener's autonomic nervous system, totally enveloping the heart and soul and compelling them to move to the irresistible rhythm.

"There are lots of very good reasons why this kind of rock 'n' roll has never gone out of fashion," band members David Lowy (Red Phoenix, Mink), John Corabi (Mötley Crüe, Ratt), Doug Aldrich (Whitesnake, Dio), Marco Mendoza (Whitesnake, Thin Lizzy) and Brian Tichy (Ozzy Osbourne, Foreigner) all agree; "Our songs are simply timeless, immortal, classic! That's why working with The Dead Daisies is so much fun, and that's why the reaction is always phenomenal, no matter when and where this band turns up."

"I'm very pleased with 'Make Some Noise'," says Aldrich. "It was a very productive time spent in Nashville and New York! The record is a straight up rock n' roll record. Very raw and punchy. We didn't do lots of overdubbing of the guitars which I loved...it's really got a good vibe like the days we spent writing and recording. I think it is a cool record that adds to an already cool catalogue they the band had prior. The best part is the guys are all friends and very cool to be working together again!"

The Dead Daisies were formed by guitarist and songwriter David Lowy, whose keen instinct and clear vision has guided the recruitment of an amazing revolving line-up of renowned musicians since the band's inception in 2012. Initially, Richard Fortus and Dizzy Reed of Guns 'N' Roses, plus Rolling Stones band members Darryl Jones and Bernard Fowler, as well as John Tempesta and Charley Drayton of the Cult were involved. Lowy has once again enlisted incredibly talented international stars to record 'Make Some Noise'. "For me as a vocalist, this kind of high caliber line-up is an absolute dream come true" enthuses John Corabi, continuing "When you work with The Dead Daises, everybody is amazingly motivated to deliver top performances".

From blazing opener 'Long Way To Go' (the first single and soon-to-be crowd favourite) onwards, this album rocks hard right through to the very last note. Cross references from legendary bands from the past feature just as much as highly contemporary sounds and trendsetting directives. Compositions such as 'Mainline' and 'Last Time I Saw The Sun' bring to mind the likes of Aerosmith and Mr. Big, while 'Song And A Prayer', with its fluid guitar licks and anthemic chorus, is mightily reminiscent of Guns 'N' Roses. 'Make Some Noise', the title track itself, is nothing less than a self-confident, tongue-in-cheek rousing rock statement, bound to be chanted over and over by euphoric audiences at this consummate combo's electrifying live gigs.

The Dead Daisies, a must-see live act who have already toured with the likes of KISS, ZZ Top, Aerosmith, Bad Company, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Def Leppard, among others, have lined up a UK and Irish tour in July in support of 'Make Some Noise'. Don't miss the chance to catch the biggest new name in Rock at the following gigs and festivals:-

20th July Dublin, Academy Green Room (with Inglorious) 21st July Belfast, Limelight (with Inglorious) 23rd July Maidstone, Ramblin' Man Fair (onstage @ 14.00 approx) 23rd July Derby, Rock & Blues Custom Show (onstage @ 22.30 approx) 24th July Ebbw Vale, Steelhouse Festival 26th July Wolverhampton, Slade Rooms (with Inglorious) 27th July Bingley, Arts Centre (with Inglorious) David Lowy aptly concludes that "The Dead Daisies mean pure fun to me. This band is first and foremost about our passion for this kind of music and about celebrating classic rock'n'roll. Because one thing is clear: if we have fun in the studio and live on stage, that spark is bound to ignite our audience."

THE DEAD DAISIES

***UK & EUROPEAN DATES ANNOUNCED FOR JULY/AUGUST IN SUPPORT OF NEW STUDIO ALBUM "MAKE SOME NOISE" RELEASED AUGUST 5TH ON SPV***

This summer The Dead Daisies will return to Europe to play a series of high-profile festivals as well as headline shows in the UK, Ireland and Germany - all in support of their upcoming SPV release, 'Make Some Noise' (dropping on August 5th 2016).

The Dead Daisies, the biggest new name in Rock, have just recently announced the addition of Doug Aldrich (Whitesnake, Dio) as their new lead guitar player. He completes a powerhouse lineup that features John Corabi (Mötley Crüe, The Scream), Marco Mendoza (Thin Lizzy, Whitesnake), Brian Tichy (Ozzy Osbourne, Foreigner) and David Lowy (Red Phoenix, Mink).

Comments John Corabi: "Europe is always a blast! We love the festivals, and we're very much looking forward to playing another run of shows in the UK as well as our own dates in Germany. We'll bring new songs, a new monster player on guitar - so let's do this!"

Doug Aldrich adds: "I can't wait to finally get going with The Dead Daisies and bring our new record to the people. This will be fun, loud Rock'n'Roll. Promise!"

In March, the Daisies finished their new studio album with Mega-Producer Marti Frederiksen (Aerosmith, Def Leppard, Mötley Crüe, Buckcherry) in Nashville. 'Make Some Noise' is their third studio effort overall, preceded by 2013's self-titled debut and 2015's 'Revolución'.

Additionally, the band has been a part of such renowned festivals as the Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival, Rock in Vienna Festival, Download Festival, and Graspop Metal Meeting.

Later in the summer, The Dead Daisies will be joining KISS again for an extended US Tour starting August 10th.
